Wow.

I will spare everyone the drama - an OOC Board is hardly the place! - but I think I'll be back from hiatus sometime on Saturday. Most of the chaos has cooled; the funeral was this morning and many of my relatives have just left. This whole affair...God, I feel like I've aged fifty years and that my heart has turned into some sort of black hole. My Auntie Eileen likened it to an empty well during a drought. That sounds very much like what it feels like, kinda like you can't even get the air out of your lungs, cuz it gets sucked right back in. But I said I would spare the drama, didn't I.

Anyway, I would really like to start getting back to my old schedule. The sooner, the better, or else I'll just never get out of this in one piece. Thank you to everyone's kind words and sentiments. Thank you to Brandi and Chrissy for helping with the hiatus notices and thank you, Hannah, for the personal well-wishes as well. You are dear to my heart.

Okay guys, I just to do this now while I remember, mainly because I may forget nearer the time 1. due to hurrying preparation and packing, and 2. because right now I suspect I might be coming down with an infection, and if I am, don't know how much time I will spend online. (going to the doctors today anyway, so...wait and see.)

I will be on full hiatus starting next week from the 6th-12th of September, because I am going away on holiday, flying across the Atlantic to spend a week in New York, hopefully finding out why named it twice. Nevertheless, I will have no internet access, and even if I did I would be rather busy sightseeing, shopping, going to Broadway shows etc. Plus my mum would probably kill me if I went anywhere near a computer. Anyway, I should be around, though a bit scarely until Friday the 5th, so everyone knows. And though I will be jetlagged on Saturday the 13th, I should be able to post on that day.

Now you may ask, what will Morana be doing while I'm gone. Well, I have an idea what I would like to do with her so she's not totally idle, since she's not the sort of character to sit around and do nothing, but it will need to be discussed with Chrissy first, and considering all that's happened this week, understandably it may take a bit of time to organise. I will edit this post in due course when something is settled, but for now, thanks for listening everyone.~

Yes, sorry, yet another one of our players is on semi-hiatus. Let me explain why:

I got into an argument with my dad yesterday, and it all went downhill from there. First it was no computer at all, then no internet and then a long conversation that leaves me wondering how much internet I'm allowed each day. But, one main thing they did was tell me one essential thing:

No roleplay.

All they can think of are the people who would get so into Dungeons and Dragons that they cared of nothing else, and would even kill themselves over it. They fear the same thing is happening to me.

So, of course, this results in the fact that I can't RP at home unless I know my parents won't be around. If anyone can be on during around...I believe 11:30-1:45 (Eastern Time) I could RP with you online and talk OOCly through posts as that is my 3rd period which I end up having a lot of free time in and, guess what? It's a computer class. The only problem with that is the teacher tends to like to make the computers blocked whenever she's talking or making us learn something (which sucks as all I'm learning now is basic HTML, which I already knew). But..anyway...I can get online at school at times, but, as said before, there will be little RP at home and I might not even be able to go online for a while at home. I do not know the verdict of this.

Another main thing they said was that 'they miss the little girl they used to know.' That, basically, I've changed, and for the worse. They decided to compare me to characters in Death Note, and, yes, you can only guess who I was related to.

Basically, in real life, I seem to stay in character for Light a bit too much. I've become a bit more self-centered and quite indifferent to anyone else.

So, yes...after the Trials...I'm going to kill off Light. (If I get that far before being completely knocked off of here)

I don't want to, but it seems I need to. I need to kill him off and get some happy, nice character to play so I can get in character with them and be what my parents want me to be. I've been looking into Akazukin Cha Cha (sp?) lately, and I believe I could find a happy character in it and that will also make my BB-muse happy, so...I believe that would work all around..if I can like the show/manga enough.

Also, there is now an open-door policy at my house. I can't close the door or lock it or anything. So, they can barge in at any time. This means if I am RPing or such, it'll be closed out of quite quickly if I hear them coming down the hall.

This also means I have to watch what I say over the phone (sorry Lexi, really) and I can't talk about shonen ai or yaoi or shojo ai or yuri or anything interesting anymore unless I'm talking in code...sorta, or if my parents aren't there.

Well, that's all I can think to say. Sorry if I can't be on much..but I will try my best to respond to things and lead up to Light's death well.

So, Lexi, be planning up Light's death like crazy now..because your chance is coming in less than a month.


EDIT: I will also be available for RP this Friday at 8:15-9:45. My ITS guy I'm apprenticed to will not be there so I will have a free period.

And a character I know I might be able to try for is Matsuda...but I know he'll have some angst with the whole Light-situation..so I dunno.

Everyone, something has come up in the player of Blythe, Sal and Dorian's life, and for now she is on a hiatus until she returns, okay? There are other things occupying her right now, and she doesn't need CU added ontop of it unless she wants it. So for now, please be respectful of the hiatus and try not to add any stress to the player's plate.

Please try to be understanding, though this is sudden. I'm sure we can all do that.

EDIT: I hadn't seen the others until after posting this, but it still stands. She might be coming back soon, she might not be, so just try to work around things with her characters and be patient.

I'm going on another semi-hiatus - it won't last longer than two weeks. As always, updating in threads, little to no updating in the journals. I'll try to stay on top of those, but there's no guarantee.

Life's just busy and stressful and mean. And unpredictable. That too.

I've come to the decision that I'm going to have to pull out of the game completely; as much as I enjoy it, some other things in life are coming first, and thus I have to take priority of what is more important (and will impact my life more). I had fun while I played, and I can't say I'm not sad to go, but you guys are more than welcome to IM me anytime (envynkit or Celticfoxfyre) if you just wish to talk about anything at all ^^.

On top of having to take care of everything at home, our head waitress at work pulled a disappearing act, and we have yet to find a replacement. Which means I'm going to be putting in more hours to try to pick up the slack.

So! I'm going to be following Mary's example, and have Banru go on a little vacation for a while, exploring the world in hopes of stumbling across one of the portals that keeps snatching people away. I should have done this much sooner, since I had already been having trouble keeping up with him, but harhar I have to do things the hard way. Banru will be on this portal hunt until my life stops being so crazy, which will hopefully be soon.

Oh yeah, and Mary, this doesn't mean we have to put our thread on hold. <3

Hello, peoples! Light-mun here! When new characters will be introduced in September, after the trials, I will be playing BB from the Death Note novel!
